Soyabean prices ended with gains due to lower-than expected supplies in local markets because of delayed sowing.
Soybean acreage fell by 10% to 11 million hectare due to late and weak monsoon in major bean producing states, government data showed.
In Madhya Pradesh, soybean acreage stood at 5.54 million hectares down from 6.3 million hectare a year ago.
At the Indore spot market in top producer MP, soybean gained 34 rupee to 3044 rupee per 100 kgs.
