Turmeric prices ended with gains as prices got supported after adverse Monsoon affecting the sowing of the crop in AP and Tamil Nadu.
In Erode mandi total arrivals are at 3000 quintals, lower by 1000 quintals from previous day’s arrivals.
An expected revival of Monsoon in the coming week could however put a cap on the rising rates.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 5858.7 rupees dropped -12.15 rupees.
