Turmeric trading range for the day is 6447-6843.
Turmeric settled down as the damage to crops from recent showers in growing belts of Southern India was negligible.
However, weak domestic demand following the arrival of low- and medium-quality turmeric in the market restricted the further gains.
Due to rain in growing areas, farmers brought only 3,800 bags of turmeric and the stockists procured 20 per cent.
In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 6188 rupees dropped -314.15 rupees.
